Elodie Chan trained in the art of contortion in Paris, China (Tianjin, Beijing) and Montreal.
Through the quest for fluid and continuous contortion, she seeks to make contortion a body language in its own right, capable of challenging the viewer’s imagination.

In 2013, she participated in the television promotion of the musical “Love Circus”, directed by Stéphane Jarny.
In 2014, she took part in the creation and tour of Purcell’s opera “Dido and Aeneas”, directed by Julien Lubek and Cécile Roussat. That same year, she also worked with Cirque Romanès on the show “Voleur de Poules”.
Since 2014, she works with the Käfig Company (Créteil NCC). She participates in the creation of “Pixel” and its international tour (more than 400 performances in more than 20 different countries).
In 2018, she participated in the creation and tour of the opera “Orphée et Eurydice”, directed by Aurélien Bory (Cie 111).
That same year, she founded the company SYLPHE in Rouen, to produce personal works specific to her artistic universe.
Elodie Chan is currently on tour with Cie Kafig (CCN of Créteil, Mourad Merzouki), on the show “Pixel” and with the opera “Orphée et Eurydice”, directed by Aurélien Bory (Cie 111).
