Pigeon pose overview
Pigeon pose is another great foundation pose that is wise to master. This position is the precursor to much of the leg behind head sequence of poses. Starting with the front leg bent at whatever degree is comfortable, the hips are rolled forwards so that as much of the stretch comes from the hip joint, rather than the back.
