Chair sit bridge overview
A variation of bridge pose which is completed by driving the hips and glutes downwards towards the floor while keeping pushed into the shoulders. This ensures that the upper back is engaged as much as possible. In the final version of this pose the contortionist would bring their glutes to rest on top of the head.
